Datos generales del programa

  • 9 four-month terms

Three years of coursework, plus the social service placement.

  • Blended format

Online coursework during the week and on-campus classes on Saturday or Sunday.

  • Virtual campus

Learning platform with a virtual library and activities guided by your lecturer.

  • Placement agreements

Agreements with SEFIPLAN, Liceo de Artes y Oficios and ARSPS for practice and social service.

About the program

Mechanics, electronicsand control

Across nine four-month terms you build the hard foundation — calculus, physics, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials — and on top of it the part that brings a machine to life: circuits, digital electronics, signals, control systems and programmable logic controllers.

The final terms are about integration: industrial control, machine element design, robotics, artificial intelligence and a professional placement. That is where everything before it comes together into a system that works.

Graduate profile

The engineeryou will become

By the end of nine terms you won't just know how a machine moves — you'll know how to design it, instrument it and program it to decide on its own. These are the four capabilities you leave ICES with.

  • Mechanical design

You draw and size machine elements and mechanisms, drawing on statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials and structural processes.

  • Robotics and automation

You program industrial robots, integrate programmable logic controllers and automate manufacturing processes end to end.

  • Electronics, instrumentation and control

You design circuits and digital electronics, measure with the right instrumentation and close the loop with industrial control systems.

  • Innovation and project management

You appraise a project's economic viability, apply artificial intelligence to processes and carry the idea through to a prototype with an entrepreneur's judgement.
